The frame is considered as an add-on, it's few
and far that we consider it like an art-work.
Effectively,
the frame must come with the table, but a lot of frames are sculptures,
and their realisation yeld the virtuosity and imagination of the
artisans, who created them.
We are in traditionnal manufacture activity, we
make ancient frame copies since 1976.
The workshop has diversified,
has opened himself to creation still we the same quality and perfection
research. This research has etablished
l’Atelier LAVERGNE's
reputation, as true as in marquetery composition with precious
wood, turtle scale, hard stones incrutations, and models originality.
